Gatimaan Express happens to be the first semi-high speed train of India that runs between Delhi and Agra. The idea to launch Gatimaan Express was officially announced in June 2015 by Indian Railways. On 5 April 2016, the train gave its first service to the public.
Gatimaan Express is among one of the fastest trains in India and covers a distance of 188 km in just 100 minutes. Nizamuddin Railway Station is the starting point of the journey which ends at Agra Cantonment Railway Station.

All you need to know about Gatimaan Express
The train is painted in navy blue and grey color having a yellow stripe in the middle. There are 10 coaches in the train among which two caches are executive AC chair car coaches and the rest are AC chair car coaches. The coaches are designed according to the needs of the passengers. There are overall three managers in the train while there is one male and female host for every coach to serve the needs of passengers.
As it is one of the luxurious train in India, Gatimaan Express welcomes its passengers by giving flowers and chocolates.
The train operates a tour of 2 days and takes you to the beautiful Mughal attractions of Agra. Not only is the destination, the journey itself filled with memorable events. The facilities provided by train is world class.

1. Agra Fort

There’s nothing much attractive in this garden but the view of Taj Mahal from here is breath taking.

Sikandra is one of the best maintained and preserved monument in the city. The construction of this monument represent both the Hindu and Muslim style architecture. This place is mausoleum of Emperor Akbar and defines his outlooks on philosophy and secularity.

Cancellation procedure
- If you cancel your reservation before the 15 days from the date of departure then you’ll have to pay INR 100 per person as cancellation charges.
- 25% of the package cost will be charged for cancellation up to 8 to 14 days.
- 50% of the package cost will be charged for cancellation before 4 to 7 days of the departure date.
- Whole amount of the ticket value will be charged for cancellation before 4 days from the departure.
